The Buffalo Sabres have debuted a colorful new crest for their upcoming Pride Night, designed by local artist Adam Weekley.
This release, part of the team's Community Artist Series in partnership with the Buffalo AKG Art Museum, highlights Weekley’s creative roots after moving to Buffalo in 2001 for his graduate studies at the University at Buffalo.
The crest shows a charging buffalo over crossed sabres, which feature the Progress Pride Flag and a rainbow flag, set against a playful disco ball backdrop—a nod to Buffalo’s beloved World's Largest Disco.
Weekley’s design aims to celebrate and support the LGBTQIA+ community while inviting everyone to connect with its message.
The Sabres will wear special practice jerseys with this design for Pride Night on January 6, 2026, against the Vancouver Canucks at KeyBank Center.
Jerseys will be auctioned, with proceeds benefiting local LGBTQIA+ groups, and merchandise is available at the Sabres Store.
